Taylor Thompson
MSc. History, The University of Edinburgh
B.A. Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (Theology minor), The King's College
Taylor received his Bachelor's degree from The King's College (New York City) and his Master's degree from The University of Edinburgh. While in New York, he developed an academic interest in theology, history, and politics while a student and while serving as a research and faculty assistant and during two internships at the United Nations. He can usually be found listening to a podcast or reading a book related to one of these fields - with a special focus on modern American/European history, U.S. Politics, and Reformed Theology/Church History.
Since moving to Middle Tennessee in 2017, Taylor has worked professionally in Commercial Real Estate (FHA/HUD Finance). He is a member of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church where he served as Interim Youth Director from 2018-2022 and currently co-leads the Young Adults Ministry.
Taylor is married to Jenna (an NCF Alumna) and they live in Nashville with their children, Marlowe and Shepherd. He enjoys time spent outdoors (most recently gardening and fly fishing), planning the next family trip, hospitality, and a good conversation around a meal or campfire.
