Nathan Johnson is Assistant Dean of Academics, Head of Program, and Teaching Fellow at New College Franklin. Originally from Tennessee with family roots going back to the early 1800s, he has been at NCF since 2020. Before that, he taught high school humanities, theology, and composition at Greyfriars Classical Academy in Matthews, North Carolina. He and his wife Hannah have one son, August Ambrose, and will be welcoming a daughter in January.
He recently published an imaginative retelling of Psalm 1 called By Rivers of Water. He has a sequel based on Psalm 23 forthcoming.
