Kimbell Kornu is the Provost’s Professor of Bioethics, Theology, and Christian Formation at Belmont University and is a Palliative Care physician. He is a founding faculty member at Belmont University’s Frist College of Medicine that is faith-based and emphasizes whole-person formation for whole-person care. He has taught palliative medicine, bioethics, and theology across the university to undergraduates, medical students, PhD students, and medical residents and fellows. His research focuses on the historical, social, philosophical, and theological determinants that shape the metaphysics and practices of modern medicine. He has published widely in the philosophy and theology of medicine. Most importantly, he is the husband of Erin and father of four.
